Main purpose of job:
Lead the team that designs, deliver and quality control communications and marketing campaigns and events.  Coordinate cross-departmental elements of HMG’s “GREAT” campaign, ensuring professional evaluation of our communications work.
Roles and responsibilities
Managing two B3 officers and working with colleagues from across the British High Commission network in India, the successful candidate will oversee cross-HMG marketing and events management, ensuring high quality delivery of our outward facing activities.
  • Working with policy leads and head of departments, design, deliver and quality control campaigns/events undertaken by HMG in India. Work proactively with stakeholders and partners to identify opportunities to increase visibility and impact of our communications.

  • Ensure marketing discipline and industry- standard evaluation across communication campaigns to justify the value for money.  Improve evaluation of campaigns and integrating lessons-learned into future plans.

  • Co-ordinate “GREAT” campaign with implementation partners across the three strands - business, tourism and education - ensuring a joined-up, professionally planned and executed campaign that delivers for UK prosperity objectives.  Co-ordinate GREAT board meetings, interface with GREAT team in London and produce internal newsletters highlighting our success.

  • Design and police branding and ensure there is uniformity in branding and consistency in messaging across various platforms.
  • Manage two B3 officers, a professional graphic designer and events manager to ensure HMG delivers well-branded (and on-brand), well-organised campaigns and events across India.  Continuing personal development
